One estate — fields, forest and water
Het Grote Fijne takes place at Landgoed Energy Up in Zeewolde — a nature-grown estate of open fields, wooded areas and water with a small beach. The festival areas, campsite and stays are spread across the terrain, yet everything is within a few minutes’ walk.

Arrive without bags, poles and camping equipment — our spacious glamping tents are set up and comfortably prepared, so you can settle into the festival straight away. Book a complete private tent for your group, or reserve a sleeping place in a shared tent, offered separately for men and women.

The RØSTIG Area

RØSTIG is an adults-only area for guests aged 18 and over. Everything is ready when you arrive: a real bed with a fresh linen package, electricity and access to a fridge, tableware and kitchen essentials. Soft rugs, outdoor seating and nearby fire bowls create a relaxed place to land after a full festival day.

Premium Energy Up Stays
Sleeps 1–4 · Six unique stays on the estate
For the most comfortable festival stay, choose one of the unique accommodations at Landgoed Energy Up. Every stay has real beds, fresh bed linen, bath linen, a kettle, cups, tea and coffee, plus its own fire bowl — most also include electricity. The accommodations do not have private running water or bathrooms; outdoor taps and the sanitary building with free warm showers are nearby.

Stay Outside the Festival Grounds
You are welcome to book your own hotel, B&B or holiday accommodation and travel to Landgoed Energy Up each day. Some options to explore: Golden Tulip Ampt van Nijkerk, Postillion Hotel Amersfoort Veluwemeer in Putten, B&B Nordengoed in Nijkerk, B&B Buitengewoon in Zeewolde or a campsite in Zeewolde. Please book directly with the accommodation and arrange your own transport — the festival shuttle runs between Nijkerk Station and Energy Up on arrival and departure days, not to individual hotels.
Staying on site gives you the fullest festival experience — the mornings, the evenings and everything in between.
The little things, taken care of
Arrival & departure
Arriving on Wednesday? You can set up your tent or camper from 9.30 am. Guests with an Early Arrival & Soft Landing Ticket are welcome on Tuesday 31 August between 7 and 9 pm. The festival ends at 4 pm on Sunday.
Sanitation
Shared toilets and free warm showers are available on the grounds. The Wild Nature Spots are farther from the sanitary facilities — the nearest toilets are about 500 metres away. Extra toilets will be placed near the camper and caravan areas.
Electricity
Camper and caravan pitches do not include electricity. A limited number of regular camping spots may have access to electricity, but these cannot be booked or guaranteed. Phones and power banks can be charged in the main building.
Weather & warmth
Temperatures can vary considerably at this time of year, and nights may feel much colder than the daytime. Check exactly what your chosen stay includes and make sure you can keep warm — an extra warm jumper, warm sleepwear or an additional blanket is always a good idea.
Parking
Use the drop-off zones to unload your camping equipment, then move your car to the designated parking area near check-in. A separate Car Parking Ticket is required and can be added in the ticket shop.
Family & children
Het Grote Fijne is a family festival — children are welcome, with kids areas on the grounds. Check each accommodation description for its suitability for children. The RØSTIG area is strictly for guests aged 18 and over.

FLYING IN
Amsterdam Schiphol is the simplest airport for most international guests — its train station is directly beneath the terminal. Eindhoven Airport is another option; buses 400 and 401 connect it with Eindhoven Centraal. From either airport, plan your train journey to Nijkerk Station to connect with the festival shuttle.

TRAIN & FESTIVAL SHUTTLE
Travel by train to Nijkerk Station, then take the pre-booked festival shuttle to Energy Up. A single journey is €20, a return journey €35, and children travel free. Reserve a place for every passenger, including children — the timetable and pickup point will be shared before the festival.

REGIONAL BUS & TAXI
You can also travel by train to Almere, then take regional bus 160 towards Zeewolde Mast and get off at Flevo-Natuur/Wielseweg — from there it is about 25 minutes on foot (less convenient with camping gear). A taxi from Nijkerk Station brings you directly to the entrance; arrange it in advance. Check your complete journey shortly before travelling via NS and 9292.

Share the journey to Het Grote Fijne — offer a spare seat or find a ride with another guest. Open the carpool widget (the floating orange button) to match with others travelling to the festival.

Yes — a camping spot for your own tent is included with every regular festival ticket. All other stays (pop up tent, wild nature spot, camper pitch, glamping, RØSTIG and Energy Up stays) are optional add-ons in the ticket shop.
Festival entrance and accommodation are booked separately. First choose your festival ticket, then add one add-on per tent, spot, vehicle or accommodation in the same ticket shop. Current prices and live availability are always shown in Hipsy.
