KNOW THE ESTATE

One estate, two buildings

Kasteel de Berckt is the name of the entire festival estate. The indoor accommodation is spread across two distinct buildings: the Historic Castle and the Farmhouse. Both are part of the same festival, but their atmosphere and position on the grounds are different.

Historic Castle

The original historic accommodation building

  • Historic & characterful
  • A little further from the central hub
  • Unique atmosphere

Farmhouse

The newer main building

  • Central & convenient
  • Close to the food area and Main Room
  • More practical and modern feel
SUMMER ON THE ESTATE
The Chapel
Outdoor Lounge
The Basement

Neither building is better — the best choice depends on whether you prefer historic atmosphere and a little more distance, or a central position close to the main shared spaces.

01

NO. 01 — INDOOR · RECOMMENDED

A Private Room of Your Own

1–4 guests · Historic Castle or Farmhouse

Upgrade your festival stay with a private room for one, two, three or four people in the Historic Castle or the Farmhouse. Most rooms include their own bathroom with shower and toilet — the limited simple single rooms are the exception. Bed linen and one towel per person are included, so you can arrive, settle in and focus on the gathering.

  • Private room for the number of guests shown
  • Historic Castle or Farmhouse
  • Bed linen & one towel per person included
  • Most rooms have a private shower & toilet
  • Booked as an add-on to your entrance ticket

02

NO. 02 — INDOOR · SOLO GUESTS

A Bed in a Shared Room

5–8 or max. 3 guests · Female & male categories where listed

Travelling alone and happy to share? Reserve your own bed in a shared room and stay inside with other festival guests. You book one sleeping place, and we arrange the room allocation. Bed linen, one towel and access to a bathroom are included.

  • One real bed in a shared indoor room
  • Standard shared rooms: 5–8 guests
  • Smaller shared rooms: max. 3 guests
  • Female & male categories where listed

ROOM OPTIONS IN DETAIL

LIMITED

Simple Single Rooms

A small number of simpler single rooms are available at a lower accommodation price. Choose between a one-person room with a shared bathroom or a one-person room with its own bathroom. These rooms are limited and may sell out quickly.

FEMALE ONLY

Large Female Dormitory

A large female-only dormitory may become available as an additional low-cost indoor option, with room for more than ten women. You reserve one sleeping place and share the room and bathroom facilities with the other guests. Bring an open mind and respect each other’s rest.

CAMPING & ALTERNATIVES

More ways to stay

A camping spot is already included with your ticket. These options give you more comfort on the grounds — or more independence.

Included with entrance

Bring Your Own Tent

A camping spot for your own tent is included with your festival ticket. Choose between two camping areas when you arrive: a green wooded field or a more open field near the lake. Places are not reserved in advance and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Included with every regular entrance ticket
  • Bring your own tent & sleeping equipment
  • No electricity on the tent fields
  • Shared toilets & showers on the estate
Limited pitches

Camper or Caravan

Bring your own home on wheels and reserve a place on the summer camper field. One Camper or Caravan Ticket is required for each vehicle, in addition to the festival entrance tickets for everyone staying in it. Pitches are limited, so book early.

  • One camper or caravan per vehicle ticket
  • Festival entrance ticket also required
  • Check the ticket shop for pitch facilities
Later release

Prepared Glamping Tent

When our indoor rooms are fully booked, a limited number of prepared glamping tents may become available. Arrive to a tent that is already set up, with mattresses, blankets, pillows and bed linen provided — an easy way to stay on the grounds without carrying and pitching all your own camping equipment.

  • Only for the Summer Edition
  • Tent prepared before arrival
  • Mattresses, blankets, pillows & linen included
  • Decorative details & a seating area

Available after indoor rooms sell out

✦

Stay Outside the Estate

You are welcome to arrange your own hotel, holiday home or B&B nearby and join the festival each day. With a valid festival ticket you may leave and return whenever you wish — you plan your own daily transport.

Arriving by car? Check the ticket shop for the current parking options for your stay.

Staying on site gives you the fullest festival experience, but an external stay can be a good alternative when indoor rooms are sold out or when you prefer more independence.

GOOD TO KNOW

The little things, taken care of

No. 01

Bathrooms, linen & towels

Most private rooms have their own bathroom with shower and toilet. The limited simple single rooms with a shared bathroom and the dormitory are the exceptions. Bed linen and one towel per person are included with indoor stays. Bring an extra towel or bathrobe if you plan to use the sauna, hot tubs or wellness facilities.

No. 02

Room keys

There is one key per room. If you share a room, agree together who keeps the key or leave it at the welcome desk when this service is available.

No. 03

WiFi & unplugging

Free WiFi is available, but the signal is not equally strong throughout the estate. We invite you to keep phones and laptops in your room or tent as much as possible and be fully present with the gathering.

No. 04

Room allocation

You choose the accommodation type, building and capacity shown in the ticket shop. The organisation allocates the exact room. You may share a preference after booking, but individual room requests cannot be guaranteed.

No. 05

Temperature

Summer days are warm, but nights can become cool — especially when camping. An extra warm layer and comfortable sleepwear are always useful.

No. 06

Parking & arrival

Use the loading and unloading zone near the campsite and the main building, then move your car to the directed parking area. A separate Car Parking Ticket is required for every car — available in the ticket shop. On site, follow the signs and the directions of our team.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Everything you wonder

Can’t find your answer? We’re happy to help — reach out via the ticket shop or our community channels.

Every indoor stay includes a made bed with bed linen and one towel per person, plus access to bathroom facilities. Private rooms are booked per room; shared rooms and the dormitory are booked per bed. Planning to use the sauna, hot tubs or wellness? Bring an extra towel or bathrobe.

Most private rooms have their own bathroom with shower and toilet. The exceptions are the limited simple single rooms with a shared bathroom and the large female dormitory, where you share the available bathroom facilities. Shared-room beds always include access to a bathroom.

Summer entrance and accommodation are booked separately. First choose your festival entrance ticket — camping with your own tent is included. If you prefer more comfort, add one accommodation option per room, bed or vehicle in the ticket shop. The ticket shop always shows current availability and the total price.

Glamping is only offered at the Summer Edition. When our indoor rooms and shared beds are fully booked, a limited number of prepared glamping tents may be released in the ticket shop — with mattresses, blankets, pillows and bed linen included. Until then, the option is visible but not bookable.

Rooms are located in the Historic Castle — the original building, a little further from the main indoor hub — or in the Farmhouse, the newer main building at the centre of the festival. You choose the accommodation type, building and capacity in the ticket shop, and we allocate the exact room. You may share a preference after booking via connect@chocolateclub.world — we will do our best, but individual room requests cannot be guaranteed.

No — the tent camping fields have no electricity. Shared toilets and showers are available on the estate. Bringing a camper or caravan? Check the ticket shop for the current pitch facilities.

Use the loading and unloading zone near the campsite and the main building when you arrive, then move your car to the directed parking area. A separate Car Parking Ticket is required for every car and is available in the ticket shop. Follow the directions of our team on site.

Arrival and departure days/times differ per event. We kindly refer you to the specific event page or the ticket shop, where the correct days and times are listed.

A free WiFi connection is available, but it’s not equally strong everywhere. At Chocolate Club events we promote a healthy lifestyle and awareness. We encourage you to experience our events with as little technology as possible — please leave laptops and phones in your room.
