You may know Leah from Madhara, where she and her band create mesmerizing live ecstatic dance sets, blending influences from around the globe. Now, in this unique event, you’re invited to experience her music in an intimate setting. Having studied Eastern makam music for years, Leah will present a concert that fuses meditative improvisations and the soulful sounds of traditional Arabic music on clarinet. Interwoven with this, she’ll share beautiful medicine songs from diverse cultures and some of her own personal songs—being performed for an audience for the very first time. There will be an invitation for you to join in musically with your own unique voices at given moments in the concert!
